National Wings Day is an exciting, annual fundraising challenge. Anyone from any profession is invited to gather a team of colleagues and friends and take on a sponsored SKYDIVE with the aim of raising as much money as possible to support WAVE Trust’s ‘70/30 Campaign’ to reduce UK child abuse by 70% by 2030!

Participants will complete their skydives, at their own convenience during the summer and autumn then come together on ‘National Wings Day’ this November the 20th for our annual Celebration event! There all our skydiving, fundraising heroes will ‘earn their wings’ and the teams and individuals who raise the most money will receive trophies!

Become an AIRBOURNE ACCOUNTANT, a LEAPING LAWYER, a TUMBLING TEACHER, a FLYING FIREMAN or a PLUMMETING POLICE OFFICER this summer, whatever your profession we want you and your colleagues and friends to be part of the skydiving, fundraising adventure that is NATIONAL WINGS DAY 2015!

Wave Trust and the 70/30 objective

Founded in 1996, WAVE Trust’s mission is to prevent emotional and physical violence against children. WAVE’s cutting edge research clearly shows that because violence is learned, it can be prevented by giving children the very best possible start in life.

National Wings Day is part of WAVE Trust’s 70/30 objective and is set to reduce UK child abuse and neglect by 70% by 2030. By making a parachute jump or by being an ANGEL and organising a team to jump you will be part of National Wings Day and will help break the cycles of violence and abuse and tackle these widespread blights on our lives.

Over the past twenty years WAVE’s work has improved the lives of tens of thousands of children and radically improved the future prospects of their children and of society as a whole.
